UBC - SNAG

SNAG was created sometime in the 1990s. Before that there was the UUG (Unix Users Group). It was created as a place where all the various IT system's administrators could gather and exchange knowledge, stories and frustrations. Although there are occasionally meetings, most of the discussion is on the mailing lists.

The SNAG mailing list is hosted on UBC's mailing list server.

Sometimes we have meetings, sometimes vendors come to do presentations, sometimes there is food!
